WHAT TYPES OF HAIR EXTENSIONS DO YOU OFFER?
At Pure Lush Extensions in Cockburn, Perth, we have specialized in professional hair extension installations since 2013.

Our signature method is the Flat Track Weave, designed to provide seamless, natural-looking length and volume. Each install is customized to suit your hair type, density, and desired result. We also offer the invisible method application and tape hair extensions.

HOW MUCH DO HAIR EXTENSIONS COST IN PERTH?
Prices vary depending on the method, length, and amount of hair required. During your consultation, we provide a personalized quote, so you know exactly what to expect. This ensures your hair extensions deliver the natural, luxury results you’re looking for.

HOW LONG DO HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?
With proper care and regular maintenance appointments every 8-12 weeks, professional hair extensions can last between 6–12 months. Maintenance protects both your natural hair and the extensions while keeping them looking flawless.

ARE HAIR EXTENSIONS DAMAGING?
When professionally installed and maintained, hair extensions should not cause damage. At Pure Lush Extensions, we prioritize the health of your natural hair with precise placement and safe techniques.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS?
Most hair extension methods require maintenance every 8-12 weeks. During your maintenance appointment, extensions are checked for any signs of tension or damage, removed completely, repositioned, and re-applied for comfort and seamless blending.

DO YOU OFFER COLOUR SERVICES?
No. Pure Lush Extensions specialises exclusively in professional hair extension installations. This allows us to dedicate our expertise entirely to flawless, undetectable results without distractions.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are a private home salon based in Cockburn, Perth WA. All appointments are by booking only, ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience. Please note, we require you to attend appointments alone where possible. 

CAN I BRING PEOPLE WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We work in a small environment and as much as we all love children and meeting your family; we unfortunately do not have the space capacity for boyfriends, friends, family or children. Please consider arrangements prior to your appointment. If you require assistance due to medical, this is an exception however please let us know prior so we can sort space in the salon area. 

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
You can book online via our website or contact us directly. New clients are required to complete a short consultation form to help us customize your extensions to your hair type and desired outcome.

WHICH HAIR EXTENSION METHOD IS BEST FOR ME?
The ideal method depends on your natural hair thickness, lifestyle and overall desired goal. During your consultation, we assess your hair and discuss which method will provide the most natural, long lasting results.

HOW MUCH THICKINESS DO I NEED?
50Grams - This is best suited for adding mainly thickness or slight length. Very natural appearance.
*This thickness is not suitable for thick hair.

100Grams - Best suited for thinner natural hair and creates a perfect natural appearance, along with adding length.
*This is our most common thickness and the recommendation for majority of our clients.

150Grams - This is for the babes who already have thick natural hair or want to go all out and have hair for days.
*This length is recommended as a minimum for 24” length and longer.

200Grams - BABE this is for the gals who want luscious THICK volume.

COMMON MISCONCEPTION
"I only want length, because my hair is already thick".

If your hair is thick already, 50G will NOT be sufficient, 100G is likely to also not be sufficient... unless you would like us to provide you with a rat's tail or mullet appearance which let's be honest isn't a look for all.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY HAIR EXTENSION APPOINTMENT?
Wash your hair 24 hours before your appointment and avoid using heavy styling products. On the day of your appointment, please attend with natural hair with no styling products in. This allows us to see your natural hair with all the imperfections.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Hair extensions require TLC.

Products - You need to ensure you are prepared to use good quality products. Avoid sulphates, silicones and parabens. Moisture, hydrate and nourishing ranges are always our recommendation along with a quality oil and leave in conditioner.

When heat styling, use heat protectants and keep heat levels to a minimum.

Washing and Blow Drying - Wash your hair extensions as you would your natural hair. The cleaner you keep them, the better your natural hair remains and the longer your extensions will last. You want to reduce any product build up so ensure when rinsing the hair, you pay attention to the bonded areas. Be gentle at the joins to reduce any irritation.

When washing your extensions; they do not need to be blow dried however, should you choose not to - they do take longer to dry and the bonds can become tacky. When blow drying, please use heat protectors and avoid direct heat on the bonds.
Do NOT blow dry hair upside down.

Sleeping - When wearing your extensions to sleep, we recommend plaiting the lengths to reduce knotting. DO NOT sleep on wet hair. Where possible, sleep on a silk pillowcase. These are amazing when it comes to prolonging your beautiful locks.

Longevity - It is very hard to give an exact time frame of how long your extensions will last as this varies greatly on your usage and care. The care and usage, aswell as storage when not worn are all factors we must consider when deeming a lifespan. Generally we recommend upgrading or replacing your Pure Lush Extensions around 6-12 monthly.

Majority of blondes replace hair around 6-9 monthly, darker shades are usually 8-12 monthly. This will vary solely on your aftercare.

Sunscreen, perfume and fake tans - Please be careful when using products that can stain the skin. These products can also stain your hair extensions causing a chemical reaction and turning your extensions a peach tone.
These products include (but not limited to): Perfume, spray tan, moisturizer, sunscreen, make up and fake tan.
